The Day After
Staying for the long weekend or keen to shave off that hangover before you drive home?
Come join us on Sunday for a BBQ and some sly bevans!
We’ll be maxo relaxing at a huge beach house down in Cowes and would love some company for the day. We’ll provide the sausages & bread, all you gotta do is BYO bevvos.
The address is: 2/2 Ryan Court, Cowes, Victoria.
Dress Code
We don’t care what you wear as long as you are there! *gang sign*
Seriously though, standard wedding attire will do, but keep it light weight as it’ll be the middle of summer and The Chapel isn’t air conditioned!
Plus, there’ll be a break dancing competition later at the Reception. So you’ll wanna be wearing comfortable dance attire.
After Party
Keen to kick on after the Reception? Your options are limited, but we got you covered!
You can head to The Western Port Hotel in San Remo who generally close around 1am on Saturday nights. They play live music in the front bar and have Outrun 2 machines and life-sized Jenga out the back.
Or if you’d like to keep things on the Island you can head to the Hotel at Cowes who close at 2am on Saturdays. Be warned, the crowd is young and things can get feral.
Gifts
After our Engagement Party where we insisted on “no gifts pls”, we were lost for words to still receive so many generous presents. This, in combination with us combining two full houses of our “things”, has meant thatΒ we’re pretty much sorted for everything in or outside the house – including a pair of Pioneer CDJ-2000-NXS2’s!
If we’re being honest the only gift we require on the day is seeing your smiling faces looking back at us while we tie the knot – then later seeing you bust some weird dance moves on the d-floor. Not much to ask for, right?
However, if you’re still intent on gifting us a treat, there are three key items that we’re hoping to purchase after the wedding. A donation to one of these three would make us the happiest of all – aside from seeing you throw down on that aforementioned d-floor, of course. π
We’ve outlined them below and Hayley has done up some very stylish donation slips you can print out, so we know what gift you’d like to donate towards.
Honeymoon
Wedding’s cost a bucketload. And because we wanted to make this day as special as possible we very sadly had to drop a few things off our budget. One of these was our Honeymoon. With your help, we might just be able to take a break at the end of the year to celebrate being Mr & Mrs Blick!
Stephen Baker Original Artwork
Not only is Mr Baker one of the most talented artists in Melbourne he’s also a dear friend of ours and the partner of Hayley’s beautiful cousin Deanne. We’ve both spoken in length about one day owning an original piece of Stephen’s to proudly put up on our living room wall. It’s a dream that, with your help, we hope will become a reality.
Furniture
We’re on the market for a new couch and a few other larger “furniture” items including a TV, a coffee table, a set of cutlery, and a jumping castle (for Jordan).
RSVP
Seriously. We need to know if you’re coming or not!
